MY TRAINING RUN RECORD NOW STANDS AT 12 DAYS
Last night I "Hopped, Skipped, and Jumped" back into the record books once again as I sauntered down the Santa Fe Trail in Monument, Colorado running towards Palmer Lake, Colorado under another moonlit clear sky. By embarking on yet another 13.1 Mile Training Run my Personal Training Run Challenge of seeing how many 13.1 Mile Training Runs I can run consecutively, remains intact after 12 Days of continuous running.
Yesterday's run now stands as the most uneventful of all my evening runs except for the fact that the Celestial Heavens once again smiled down on me providing with another absolutely breathe taking light show in the nighttime sky. While I was running down the Santa Fe Trail, a flash of light caught the corner of my eye and as I looked up to the heavens there was a very large shooting star streaking across the sky. Wow...this is now the second meteor that I have now seen in the last 7 days. This guy was a biggie and created a large flash in the sky that lasted several seconds longer then the meteor that I saw on last Friday night. Monument, Colorado is definitely a great place for star gazing because there are no city lights or pollution to block your view of the nighttime sky. During the rest of my training run I did spend a great deal of time looking up and star gazing down the Santa Fe Trail in hopes of being able to get a glimpse of another elusive meteor dotting the nighttime Colorado sky.
Wildlife Report:
Yahoo...No large woodland creatures were encountered on this run!
Bio Dashboard:
Here is how my Bio Dashboard currently reads (1= Good, 10 = Bad)
Feet Rank = 5
Knees Rank = 5
Legs Rank = 3
Back Rank = 2

After 12 Days of continuous running, I thought for sure my body was going to cry "Uncle" last night but I actually put in a very strong training run to my astonishment.
Here's The Skinny:
In the last 12 Days I have now run a Grand Total of 160 Miles (13.3 Miles X 12 Days = 160.5 Miles) and have burned approximately 18,564 Calories!
How much longer I can keep my Personal Training Run Challenge streak going still remains a mystery to me because my body is still feeling very good evening after 12 Days of continuous running. Plus the weather here in Monument, Colorado has been cooperating very nicely evening though I would like to see some precipitation in any form real soon because we have not had any rain in over 45+ days. I will now attempt to keep my running streak alive by hopping back on the Santa Fe Trail tonight which would extend my Personal Training Run Challenge to 13 Days in a row.
Happy Running Trails To You™
