13 Days And Counting!

MY TRAINING RUN RECORD NOW STANDS AT 13 DAYS

 Strideopolis Website
My Personal Training Run Challenge of seeing how many 13.1 Mile Training Runs I can run consecutively, once again remains intact after I completed my "Golden 13th" 13.1 Mile Training Run on the Santa Fe Trail last night.  Thirteen days in a row of running 13.1 Miles consecutively will also go into my training run archives as a new record for me!

When I vaulted onto the Santa Fe Trail last night it was quite bitter outside with temperature hovering somewhere in the 40's with a slight breeze swirling all around me.  It was definitely one of the coldest runs that I have been on this Fall but as soon as I started my run I quickly forgot all about the cold weather as "The Man On The Moon" once again demanded my attention.  There was something very captivating about the moon last night because it was so BRIGHT I did not even need a headlamp to help guide me down the dark Santa Fe Trail.  I actually had my headlamp on but the moon was so scintillating that I could barely see the reflection of my headlamp light on the trail.  Congratulations Mr. "Man On The Moon", you will now go down in history as one of the brightest moons that I have the opportunity to run under since I moved to Monument, Colorado!

Wildlife Report:
Except for a pack of Coyotes baying at the "Man On The Moon" out in the yonder timberlands, I did not have any close encounters with any of the local Santa Fe Trail woodland creatures last night.

Sasquatch Report:
No sightings yet...but I Believe!

Celestial Report:
No shooting stars, meteors, asteroids, comets, or black holes observed in the nighttime sky!  It was slightly overcast during the entire course of my run which only permitted for intermittent star gazing.

Bio Report:
Here is how my Bio Report currently reads (1= Good, 10 = Bad)
Feet Rank = 3 (Drop From 5)
Knees Rank = 4 (Drop From 5)
Legs Rank = 3
Back Rank = 2

Even though I busted out my 13th training run in a row last night, my feet and knees felt much better then they did on my previous nighttime training runs.  I am quite flabbergasted at how well my body is handling the stress of all of these 13.1 Mile Training Runs as well as how great I have been feeling the day after my runs.

Here's The Skinny:
In the last 13 Days I have now run a Grand Total of 174 Miles (13.3 Miles X 13 Days = 173.9 Miles) and have burned approximately 20,111 Calories!

Good news!  No more nocturnal runs for the next 6 days if I decide to keep my "Personal Training Run Challenge of seeing how many 13.1 Mile Training Runs I can run consecutively" streak alive and well.
