MY TRAINING RUN RECORD NOW STANDS AT 16 DAYS
Oh what a delightful morning to go on my record breaking 16th Training Run of 13.1 Miles on the Santa Fe Trail here in Monument, Colorado. The Colorado sun was shining nice and bright with the mercury hovering around a balmy 64 degrees for the month on November. Last year at this time we were hit by our first blizzard of the year which dumped several feet of snow on the Monument Area. It's just amazing how different the weather patterns are in the State of Colorado this year.
"My Personal Training Run Challenge of seeing how many 13.1 Mile Training Runs I can run consecutively" streak proceeds forward another day as I vaulted onto the Santa Fee Trail this morning in Monument, Colorado meandering my way to Palmer Lake, Colorado to complete my 16th Training Run of my challenge. It was an awesome feeling being able to soak up the Colorado sun and wallow in the warm weather once again. It is definitely a rarity, for me at least, to run around the Palmer Lake Loop and have the surface of the Lake appear as still as glass because there always tends to be a slight breeze blowing from one direction or another.
Wildlife Report:
Phew...No woodland creatures encountered on my morning run!
Sasquatch Report:
Phew...No run-ins with Sasquatch...but I Believe!
Celestial Report:
Sun...Sun...Sun!
Bio Report:
Here is how my Bio Report currently reads (1= Good, 10 = Bad)
Feet Rank = 2
Knees Rank = 2
Legs Rank = 2
Back Rank = 1
Here's The Skinny:
In the last 16 Days I have now run a Grand Total of 214 Miles (13.38 Miles X 16 Days = 214.08 Miles) and have burned approximately 24,752 Calories!
I plan on extending My Personal Training Run Challenge by another day by going on my 17th Training Run of 13.1 Miles tomorrow morning. The weather forecast calls for even warmer temperatures for tomorrow than we had today!
